X Factor?

This is what Saturday nights used to be one generation ago =) Now we are corruputed with X Factor, Stritctly Come Dancing and Britain's(Or America's) got Talent. This is Eddie Fisher(Leading), Andy Williams and Bobby Darin showing us how it used to be done! Perfect Pitch, Rhythm, Timing, Charisma and Personality! Live of course :) I first saw this nearly one year ago and it still has less than 10,000 views on Youtube. Ridiculous!

Saddening in many ways =) Not one of the XFactor winners let alone XFactor wannabes would survive in the above clip without being embaressed to high heaven.

Another Saturday night show clip below from 1971 :- Neil Young in his Network TV Debut on the Johnny Cash Show. (I posted another version of this in August for anyone who is paying attention :) aka no one) :-

Silly how times have changed so harshly. Hopefully it is cyclic!

Another one from the Johnny Cash show, this time Ray Charles. Note how Johnny Cash nearly comes to tears when Ray Charles opens with an impromptu performance of Johnny Cash's classic - "Walk the Line". He then follow ups with an excellent version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. You need to fast forward to 1.30 for the start. Bad editing =)

Poker is actually pretty boring and repetitive, I'm pretty sure Tiller has seen a lot of permutations over the last X million hands & doesn't have many interesting hands to post & even if he does he might not want to give too much away about his style/thought process.

The site is tillerman.net not tillermanpokerposts.net last time i checked - I guess you can ask him for a refund on your subscription if the music posts are boring you.

In the words of the immortal Bill Hicks "GET A FUCKING SOUL."

Neil is a national treasure. He has been writing, beautifully, for decades and continues to do so. People have no clue.
