This is my old room mate Tom "IceGod" Rhodes skydiving recently in the USA. Looks fun but I'd still never do it =) $100 for the jump and $80 for the video, the video is well worth it, they do a good job as you can see!
Hi ian, another question for you! you know when you began to feel like you were becoming a competent player, I am currently at that stage with a 4000 dollar bankroll playing .50/1 no limit 40 buyins the very conservative side. Im currently play 4 tables at once as my monitor is only 20inches and im curious as on your way to 7 figures, did you play the same cash games as me, and a similar amount of tables? im curious as i am eager to improve as a player and follow in your footsteps once i reach high enough stakes and the required bankroll.
Summarised: on low-med stakes and even low stakes how many tables did you play? and did you souly play NL 6 handed, headups or full ring? nathansudell@hotmail.com
Can I ask your opinion on a hand situation I have been debating...
The game is NL$200 full ring and you are seated on the BB. Villain is in the CO and the effective stacks are $200.
Hero is dealt pocket 2s, all fold to villain who raises to $8, all fold to hero for heads up if he plays.
Villain is 17% VPIP, 8% PFR, 3 Post-flop Aggression and has a 17% attempt to steal blind.
Hero is 14/10/2.5 and folds to blinds steals around 88% of the time. Hero has not been 3-betting heavy this session and there is no specific memorable history between hero and villain.
My best mate did a skydive for charity and was absolutely bricking it the day before. But, as soon as he'd landed he was straight back up in the air ready to go again!
It's something I'd love to do one day, must be an amazing feeling!
Sudsta: I seriously played only full ring(9handed) up until $1000/$2000 levels. I also played 6-8 tables regularly.
Kenny: Call mostly. Marginal though. Good thing about this spot when you defend BB with small pp in my experience even though you know there range is huge on button or co. Because they are battling a blind they sometimes put in way more bets than normal, stacking off light etc when you set up as oppose to if you had been in middle or early position with your pp.
Your input is appreciated. I argue that a call whilst marginal is still +EV if you have good post-flop skill. My opponent(s) on this matter seemed to be suggesting that folding was the correct play and on the basis that is 0EV they suggest calling 22 here is -EV. I just don't see that unless you are playing 'fit n fold' poker which no good player should.

tbh i'd imagine tiller has better things to do than to walk you through 100% on his blog (when there are awesome guides online)
Wow, people ask the stupidest questions!

My wife did a tandem jump and says it was mental. This, however, looks properly insane:
