130 BB preflop? Lol... did uguys agree to do like a flip on that particular hand or something.
That just looks so sick.
I might be missing it, but what's so amazing about that hand? The fact that you would raise so much with a little suited ace or the fact that you actually won the pot?
lol?
I'm guessing the 100BB open raise was a mis-click.
I would say it was an amazing hand but well done on hitting ur ace (speculative?!)..and yes,you took a nice pot.
Explanation?
tillerman, sorry this question isnt directly related to the hands in question but i was wondering about the intrinsic value of poker tracker and does it decrease/increase depending on what levels you're playing.
I can beat the $0.50/1 games and less whilst 4-6 tabling without the use of poker tracker as i find ABC pretty much still works here and when ive played $2/5 + i only like to play a max of two tables and rely on instinc rather than thinking about EV and am a winning player there so at what level do you think it optimal to use poker tracker as i'm constanly told that i should have it but have always done well without it, how significantly do you think my not using it impacts upon my ROI%? cheers.
Pokertracker is useful at any limits. It is particularly good at lower level grinds for spotting very tight players and such like. Will definitely give you a boost to EV if you use it right. It easy to use it wrong and make false assumptions though. I haven't used stats whilst playing ever, tried it a few times on and off. I'm just lazy though. It wasn't around when I was playing low.
I would definitely use it if I was multi table grinding low limits.
Explanation is that I misclicked the slider to half my stack. I've done that once ever before and it was for much much less than that. I was furious at first which soon turned to elation =) Especially since Kirderf had been wanting revenge on Mortimer for the past 2 hours and I got it all with some sick luck =)
Ian, i need your opinion plz! email me back on nathansudell@hotmail.com or comment here.

your hand u posted A6 diamonds, i detest it, it sickens me!
You should have bet this flop 100%. So that is first mistake. And if you play it like you did I think you should mostly fold the river. Overbet bluffs are reasonably uncommon. You would need a good read at least. I think an ace mostly value bets here. So it is either bluff or 6 most of time.
A small value bet on the river is also good, say half pot. And fold to a push.
LOL at the bet, and you just show you were a lucky mofo like 30:70 outsider or smthing?
Nice troll tho :)
Tiller, what are your thoughts on the fake misclick? I saw a play by Brian Townsend where he had always been raising something like $1600 but raised to $16000 with AA and was shoved on, by Ivey I think.
Angle-shooting? Would you risk doing it now and again?
Lol misclick, happens sometimes.
I joined Betfair after I read your blog but it seems like a crap site, not many players etc...am I missing something? Looking for NL100 thru to 400.
Glasgow guy / yoshi
It is 1.26pm and I see 11 $100 tables full and 8 $500 tables. Shrug, seems ok. If you want crazy amounts of tables you should play Pokerstars, Fulltilt or Ipoker.
Aren't you playing the WSOP Tiller?
tillerman, if you say pokertracker is useful at any limits, just wondering how come you are not using it currently?
or are you saying its not useful in no limit? and if that is so, is it useless in all no limit or just high stakes?
great blog, thanks
