Grand Theft Auto 4
I'm not easily impressed by games, but if you own an XBOX360 or Playerstation 3 you should definitely purchase GTA4. At first, you will probably react the same as me and be slightly underwhelmed, feels like more of the same initially but trust me if you give it a good chance you will have a lot of fun with it. The attention to detail is mind blowing, even the comedians at the comedy club are funny. If this is what is possible today in gaming, in 10 years it is going to be mind blowing!

Less of the GTA IV comments, and more on the poker scene! we know GTA owns but im more interesting in your views on certain aspects of poker. Would be good to see your current stakes you play, your thoughts on the increasingly number of people using bots (Apparently) and so on :P
Cmon tiller lets get more of your views on the poker scene, such as your feelings towards the growing number of potential bots, your current playing limits and how you are doing at them levels and so on!
Well, it did take $100 million (USD), 3 1/2 years, and hundreds of game developers to make GTA4. At this rate, in 10 years, the Grand Theft Auto franchise will be spending more money on production costs than the manufacturers of real automobiles will be.
Its not called TillerMaN's Poker Blog Spot for a reason. =) But yep I should post more, just poker is kind of old to me and interesting stuff that has some kind of novelty factor TO ME is so rare in poker =(
Seems I left it too late to pre-order this and now everywhere is sold out, must be selling like hot cakes...good sign tho!
Is this you on Thom at FT?
Yes Mr Tilterton :)
Wont be there for long though. I get a few hundred dollars there in debt every now and then paid into my account. Just gamble it away. =)
LOL, 56/36/3 suits you ;o) It's almost tight!
I won $63, stopped now. Thats how I roll man.
Tiller, could I ask a bit of poker advice? I have a bankroll of around $360 which I have grinded up from $250 this month playing 7-10 tables of NL10 6 max and more recently some full ring. Playing this amount of tables obvioulsy allows me to log a boat load of hands but I think long term it could hinder my progress as a player due to being more exploitable by more thinking players.
Would you suggest I carry on griding out thousands of hands until I get to say NL50 and then drop the number of tables as the players here will still be poor but much better than NL10? I play for the money obviously but I want to progress to being a better player more than anything, the money is just a byproduct of being the better player at the tables!
Id do what you are doing until you are considerably higher. There are no thinking players at NL10 :) They start very far away from that limit.
No but seriously do what you doing and maybe occasionally 2-3 table and work on your game and go through your hand histories looking for improvements.
GL with your poker!
tillerman, after 2 weeks off from poker playing gta4 for average 10hrs a day, i don't need you to tell me it fucking rocks ;)
Looking forward to this on the PC.
Rayman Raving Rabbids is driving me crazy on the WII right now.
The Glasgow Dude.
Tiller, thanks for replying to my question. I've taken your advice on board and started to drop a few tables now and again to work on my game. I'm also going through sessions with poker tracker and poker stoving some situtions too.
Again, thanks.
