Insanely amazing
I've seen a lot of these Ted talks before and if you haven't you really should take an afternoon and check out a lot of them. Some of them are awe inspiring.
Anyway, not seen the one above before, it came courtesy of my good friend Steve Hamilton. It is all interesting but the most amazing part is from 4.15 to the end. The reverse is insane and I kind of want proof that is true and not faked. Hehe. Just got to trust it hasn't been through an editing program on someones computer =)

Yeah I'm not sure about that being real...I'd like a closer look at the original DV camera footage.
BTW, I'm in Glasgow and play NL200-500 live. I've played up to NL10/20 online also in the past but mostly multi table NL100/200 now. My favourite game is 5/10 but I'm a bit underolled right now for that.
Anytime you want to hook up for a live game or maybe you can coach me for £££ as I'm looking for a coach. Post back here if you do and I'll post my contact info.
Peace man.
Hey. Great, seem to be a few more Scottish guys playing higher recently that I've met or come across, getting bored of seeing only Mafews =) Joking Rory.....
Yeh, I sometimes play live but only if I'm out with friends. Been to Alea a few times recently as well as occasionally going to the Cincinatti club for a small cash game.
I'm sure we'll meet randomly at some point!
What is the cash game situation at Alea? Limits? Players? Fish?
I've played at Cincinnatis...it's OK....was at Wabash at the weekend fish farming lol.
Mostly play online multi-table at FT but we also have a crazy wild-west homegame in Fife on Monday nights totally 'smoking'...it's donkish but serious enough with the prize fund being £320 last week which is fairly big for a friendly with the fishies.
It was better, but now it is only a Tournament on Tuesdays and Sundays probably around £20 buyin. I played cash there after a tourney once, £200 or so.
Best cash game is probably at Cincinattis, it runs all the time and is regularly £200. I think everywhere else is smaller or runs unregularly.
Think there is ok stuff through in Edinburgh at the Maybury but you'd have to ask the Edinburgh boys for that info.
yeah I hear the maybury is pot limit or capped or something.
Cash games don't seem to start till late at Cincinnati's...contrast to Australia's Crowne Promenade where I played last year...cash games run all day long from AM/lunchtime.
I found the Cincinnati game £50 BI min but some crazy fish there. Last time I was there I went +1BI pretty quick and left as it was getting late....wanted to stay longer as the biggest fish in the place had £500 stack but I was getting tired.

Heya TillerMaN :)
Doubt you remember me but we used to play together in SC, SC:BW and WC3 betas. The days of Blacklizard, Agent911, IN.Bob and many other you might have fond memories of as well ;)
Found your site through Google, very nice to see you're doing well (in general and) at poker. Switched to poker myself when WoW:TBC came out but am obviously nowhere near the limits you play. Hope to see you in SC2 beta, if Rob Pardo is kind enough to let us in that is ;)
Cheers,
DaVinci
P.S. if you still talk to NTT now and again say hi to him from me, he started out in our Dutch clan
I dont remember Davinci as a nick but yeh of course I remember all those guys and I still speak to NTT daily. I'll let him know you said hi! Thx for stopping by!
Fingers crossed I get into the Beta and get a bazillion other people I know into it too. I'll sure try. Get ready for begging emails Mr Pardo =)
