not sure...but there are now leagues for dota...checkout gotfrag.com ...i have no idea WHY, but there are. it's amusing for a few hours...but to play it competitively???

Its true i dont have a song, becuase i know i cant sing and becuase of that i dont make any music.
But if you want to do a song in the same class as basshunter:
1. take some beats (use what ever program Energy dance ejay? :P
2. make 2 lines, (vi sitter i venten o spelar cs)
put that together with the game sound and you got exactly the same shit as basshunter are doing.
a 30sec loop over and over in 5 min and then its just to get to know some in the music buissnies and you got your self a CD.

I'm from Norway and "Boten Anna" became the official "Russ 06 song". Russ is what you are the last year on high school. So if you went to any club for high schoolers you could here Boten Anna quite often with the crowd going wild. Nobody knew it had something to do with a computer untill the very end. Actually everybody thought he was singing about a boat...

It's funny how Norwegian and Swedish is so similar, but still so different. I always thought Boten Anna was about a boat, and that this song is something like "We're sitting here waiting, playing some computergames". Weird.

Hehehehehe!! Well, my heritage is Norwegian and my grandfather grew up there. But yeah. I did not. I really like Basshunter and his funny computer nerd-like songs because there is no one else out there who makes a few simple lines turn out to be so AWESOME! XD

lol i live in the north of scotland right, and no one has a clue what the lyrics mean, every saturday night you hear it in the clubs, and they all think its like some love song >.> its quite funny when you tell them its about compter gamnes. but yea i like techno songs lol and once youve drunk yourself stupid, you dont really need more than a repeated bassline and 2 lines of lyrics because your not gonna remeber it anyway lol

Ok, to all the haters of this song..if you dont like the song (or its lyrics) why do you even listen to it? i didnt know that is was abou a game until recently and i still get a kick out of it. so stop leaving negitive comments if you dont like this song, because you took the time to find it!

Maybe he makes songs about video games because he...likes video games? Did that ever occur to any of you guys? Yes? No? Well anyway. I play DotA a lot. My friends don't see how I can be so obsessed with it, but the same goes for anyone else who gets addicted to a game. I've been a warcraft fan since the first game came out. This isn't for kids. Most of the people who play the game are 15+. You can hate if you really want to, but it just makes you look stupid to everyone who has actually had any experience with the game. And playing it one time doesn't count as experience. You become experienced after you know what "mia" "-ma" "-di" means and how to simultaneously gank, rosh, and bd at the same time.

What I really like about Basshunter is that he has made a hit in english speaking countries where they have no idea what the lyrics mean. When I first heard "Boten Anna" I thought it had a real good beat and intrigued me enough to find out what the words meant. All I could do was laugh when I discovered it was about a bot. He makes his music himself using a program called "FL Studio" and does a bloody good job of it IMO.
