The conflict is too foreign for me to even begin to comprehend, or even really care about.
I do believe there is some merit to almost all forms of religion and spirituality, and it can be a very good thing for those who practice it.
But there is something just a little crazy about an adult truly believing in the mythology. Many people just take it way too far; any time one person's beliefs impose on another person in any way, it's another example of that.

awesome interview, i cant remember the last time i saw an interviewee get stuck right in like George did. I've never seen this guy before. I too am sickened by the bias in the coverage of this conflict, and the way that the western media lets Israel blow up lebanese ambulances and civilians with barely a word of criticism. A few weeks into this latest outbreak, Israel had killed a number of Lebanese civilians equal to 1/3 the number of americans that died in the world trade center bombing... and yet... Israel somehow avoids being labelled as the terrorists that they are.
It's not quite as simple as Israel blowing up Lebanese civilians. When someone from Hezbollah shoots a rocket into Israel from his backyard, then goes right back into the house with his family, I believe he is the one responsible when his family gets blown up. So you blame Israel for blowing up civilians, but in reality it is Hezbollah.
Imagine Israel on an offensive into Hezbollah and instead of body armor they put children on as armor. Who's fault is it when the children die? I claim it would be the guy with the child strapped to him.
On the other side I do not see how Hezbollah can fight any differently. If they were to try to fight Israel militarily they would get slaughtered. But you cannot justify Hezbollah because Israel kills civilians.
Israel does not intentionally target civilians while Hezbollah's goal is to kill civilians. Hezbollah shoots rockets and rejoices when an Israeli civilian dies. I don't see people in the streets of Israel happy everytime a Lebanese civilian does.
One of the reasons I am so harsh on the Israelis is that although the Jews dont mind reminding people of the holocaust etc time and time again, what they dont do is LEARN from it! I expect more from them. I expect that they should have learned to have more compassion for other people... but they dont. They're merciless savages who DO rejoice when they kill Lebanese civilians. They take photos of their high school girls signing their names on missile warheads bound for Lebanon. They blow up ambulances, water supplies, power plants, vital humanitarian infrastructure, they kill 10 civilians for every Hezbolllah fighter. They're sick.
It's just human nature... but if any race/nation of people should have seen the folly of this and risen above it, it should be the Jews, after what Hitler did to them.You have no idea how much it disappoints me that they have learned nothing... If they cant, then none of us can. Its depressing.
And this comment by someone who says Hezbollah hide behind civilians - that is pure rubbish. Where else do you think they are going to be - when you invade their country?? Of course they are going to be surounded by civilians when you have invaded their bloody country and civilians are everywhere .
Israel are digging themselves into a giant hole... why the hell dont they bloody show some respect for their neighbours? They might have to take a few little rockets, on the chin, now and then, for the next 20 or 30 or 40 years. Before all the hatred they have aroused peters out. But it is better than just perpetuating and escalating the situation. And when these conflicts get escalated, hundreds of civilians get killed. If Hezbollah kill 1 Israeli a month for the next 20 years, they will not have even killed half as many civilians as Israel killed in the first month of this latest series of atrocities.
