Experiment over

I stopped at 40 hours after accidentally seeing my balance at Ultimatebet and shortly after the same again happened on Ladbrokes during a reload. It also didn't help that I saw I was down 20k on Ultimatebet when I thought I was around even. It was all good though after checking around all the accounts. The other sites took care of the loss there plus five figures of profit. It is just to hard to avoid seeing your balance during reloads at some of the sites. Oh well =)

Hello Tiller,

great blog you have here ! Also in Belgium, many gamers are making a transition to Poker. Wish you a lot of success.

How often do you look at your balance normally tillerman?

I have a habit of looking a lot and was wondering if this may be affecting my play.i.e. worrying about making a certain target etc.

Regards,

Never during a playing a session but usually after one. Although past few months I check often after 8 hours have passed which might occur over a few days.

And yes I think it can definitely affect some people adversely. Some people feel they need to hit targets for a session or start to chase when they see they are down a lot. I don't suffer from either of those thankfully.
