Ireland etc.
I am going over to Dublin/Ireland today for the Irish Poker Open. I will be staying for 4 days and playing all the events there which consist of :-
Friday 14th - 400 Euro + 40 Euro with Rebuy.
Saturday 15th - 3000 Euro + 200 Euro Freezeout. (1 Million Euro Guaranteed)
Sunday 16th - 300 Euro + 30 Euro Freezeout. (Only if I'm knocked out of the main)
Monday 17th - 150 Euro + 15 Euro Rebuy. (Again, only if I'm knocked out)
Fly back on the Tuesday!
I will be able to test my new Alienware laptop which I bought especially for trips. My friend Steve will probably end up using it most of the time since he is not entering the main event.
The specs I got were :-
[1] Area-51® m5700
Processor: Intel® Pentium® M 780 2.26GHz 2MB L2 Cache 533MHz FSB
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® XP Pro Edition UK with SP2 - English
Case: Alienware® m5700 17" WideUXGA 1920 x 1200 LCD - Xeno Grey
Memory: 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 PC-4200 533MHz - 2x512MB
Video Card: Alienware® m5700 NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Go with 256MB of DDR1 memory
The only criteria were size/weight/processor speed and best screen possible. This met those three criteria for the Centrino processor combos. It can do four poker tables with no overlap and six tables with some overlap lengthwise. It can also run Wow at maxed settings and 1920*1200 widescreen resolution very well. So all in all pleased with it and will probably return to Alienware in the future.
The final episode of High Stakes Poker has been released on torrent but don't worry as I hear they are just about to start filming a further 16 episodes any day now.
A congratulations to my good scottish friend B2Bullets on Ultimatebet who killed the 50-100 Pot Limit Omaha game there a couple of days ago. He netted $290,000 profit in just one day playing just two tables. Pretty sick but he is precisely that, sick! Not bad going for the second best player in Scotland? (Lol!)
I won't be running a tournament on Sunday because I will be in Ireland but I will start it again on the following Sunday. I listened to the comments and stuff but I will keep it at $50 buy in as I think this is the perfect balance point for "most" people. I might also start a leaderboard if we regularly get 20+ players turning up for it which I think we will on a Sunday.

Tiller, fire up a picture of your laptop when you get a chance - sounds like its an awsome set up. Did I read that the screen res is 19x16!!! Fook!!
Incredible run of B2B... on UB. I watched him for a while and he kept hittin' and hittin' apart from playing an incredible game.
Congraz to him for that!
Cheers, Jay
