Photos from Monaco
I got ill precisely half way through the trip so my photos are really screwed up. I had planned on going out all day after I got knocked out to take photos all over Monaco as although it was chilly it was amazing blue skies and very bright. I spent the best part of 2 days ill in the hotel room before we had to fly back =(

Checking in at the Helicoptor Desk - Woot! - Ben, Rury and Rory.

Tony Chessa posing for the camera. He finished an admireable 30th in the main event just missing out on the money! The chap behind him was the Littlewoods online qualifier, he also did pretty good lasting deep into the second day.

The helicoptor we are getting on to take the 6minute journey from Niece to Monaco. It is around 30-45 minutes in a car.

Luggage preparation.

The long walk =)

Take off, whoooooosh whooooosh.

Some nice left banking.

Was lots of vibrations and shuddering inside. It was not scary though. Fun stuff!

Rory Matthews (Mafews) in the middle admiring the view.

A zoom shot of Monte Carlo in the distance.

The heli-pads in the distance.

Getting closer!

Landed. Woot, in Monte Carlo!

Tony Chessa clearly excited after the Helicoptor ride and the Littlewoods representative to his right with a big smile also.

Taken directly outside of the Heli-pads. Clearly impressive but photos don't capture any of the true classiness, beauty of Monte Carlo unfortunately.

Same again to the right.

Arriving at the Hotel Du Paris.

Ben Bard getting ready to check in.

Rury displaying jaw dropping awe of the hotel!

Entering. All the photos from inside were too dark. It was pretty amazing inside.

A view from my hotel room, I shared with Mafews.

A view of the city center to the right.

Out hotel room.

Another angle.

This display was changed every day. It was more colorful the previous day. This was the final day. Must be expensive!

Very ill now suffering from flu like symptoms. Ordered Cream of Chicken Soup, Salmon and Potatoes and Coffee.

Also watching the movie, the Weatherman on TV. Only ok, pretty disappointing. I've seen too many movies like this recently which do it a lot better. Happiness, Garden State and Broken Flowers spring to mind.

Sweet bathroom.

Checking out of the hotel.

We went into this amazing casino on the first night. It was like something out of a James Bond movie. Total opposite of Vegas. Couldn't take cameras inside either. No poker either so we never went back.

The cars were just unreal, this is all the photos I got as I was leaving and it was getting dark too unfortunately. I didn't plan on getting ill so I missed 3 days of photo opportunities. I had planned to walk over the whole area taking shots. Sucks. Saw multiple Ferraris, Lambourghines, Porches etc, even a Mclaren parked right outside the Casino which was clearly worth a fortune. I'm not an expert on cars though. Matdamon (player from Crpytologic network) who we were with a lot drove down in his Lambourghini Diablo (black). Really really amazing looking car.

Another Porchse to my left.

A Bentley in the distance. Then we had to go.

very cool, thanks
Tillerman you should come back to warcraft. We really miss you! I miss your commentaries. Can you come and make some more?
Great pics.
Keep up the good work.
Talking to Rory on MSN and playing with him in the casino I feel a little jelous of the life he (and you) can live with the back up of a healthy poker bankroll.
To actually see it in the flesh like that breaks my heart :D I hope you realise how lucky you young guys at the top of the game are. There are plenty of winning poker players that dream of trips to Monty Carlo, big tourney and drolling over decent cars who are just not good enough to win 'that' much.
By the way the McLaren retailed at around £600,000 when new so seeing that really was something special! The only thing that would have excited me more would be an Enzo Ferrari.....but you probably saw one of those as well!!
Never realised Ben had got himself so well established. He seems to have come from nowhere in the last year - perhaps under the guidance of Rory although I'm led to believe he was always very well regarded at Omaha.
Good pics Tillerman - bummer about being ill though.
Kenny
