Got a PSP!
My psp came a couple of days ago and I have been getting pretty good use out of it. I never really expected all that much before I bought it but when I saw the demo disc with the trailer for Spiderman I was really impressed with the quality of the screen.
Even though I was impressed with the movies on it I won't be buying UMD movies for it as I think it is just too crazy to buy DVD's and then the same movie again on UMD for an even more expensive price. Screw that. No thanks. I have hacked my system back to 1.5 (I made the mistake of upgrading to 2.0) so I can use homebrew applications on it like emulators for older systems.
I converted one DVD I own to AVI then to MP4 but I mucked it up somehow and only had 39 minutes of the movie however that 39 minutes did work great and will spur me on to try converting more of my movie collection to watch on my PSP. I also bought a 2GB Memory Stick Duo which kind of blows away the 32MB one. What a con that is, 32MB and both sticks of memory look absolutely identical? Money grubbing Sony bastards.
Most of my use of it will be for games. It is still a new system so there isn't a great library of games yet but I got the following :-
Ridge Racer - This is great and has taken a bunch of tracks spanning every Ridge Racer game and put them into one game. It has a lot of replay value as there is tons of game content to unlock. Only slight problem I have with it is that drifting is way too easy.
Wipeout Pure - Again, amazing replay value with a lot of content to unlock with 5 possible league speeds. I am only on speed level 2 and I find it very fast already which is great.
Lumines - A Tetris style puzzle game which I have not yet put too much time into yet but it looks addictive and very polished.
Burnout Legends - A mix of racing and mayhem. It has high production values but I do have some problems with the feel of the racing part of the game. It seems if you hit the sides and stuff it kind of just pulls you round most of the time like a scalextrix track.
Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee - This game is called Everybody's Golf in the UK. I assume they are the same as I can't find it on gamespot and this game seems to be the same one as far as screenshots are concerned. Weird. Anyway, not played it much yet so can't really comment.
Hope some really awesome games come out for it. Too many driving games so far!

I wanted to get one, but what is the difference between having this over a ps2? I guess it is good for travel. Maybe I should get one for riding the subways
